We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic and

growing team, servicing five care homes across South Devon. If you are someone who is

Locations: Teignmouth, South Brent, Dartmouth, and surrounding areas

Hours: Full or Part time

As we expand, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician who can ensure that our care

homes are kept in excellent condition, providing a safe and welcoming environment for

residents and staff.

Your Role:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key part in the upkeep of our care homes. Your

responsibilities will include:

 Performing routine maintenance on internal and external areas of our buildings.

 Responding promptly to repair requests, addressing issues such as leaks, faulty

appliances, and fixtures.

 Conducting inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensuring compliance

with health and safety regulations.

 Maintaining outdoor areas including paving, walkways and waste storage areas.

 Conducting regular equipment checks and logging maintenance activities.

 Testing fire safety systems and water temperatures in line with health and safety

protocols.

Requirements:

 Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel between care homes across South

Devon.

 Experience in general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and

HVAC systems.

 Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

 A commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

 Vocational training in maintenance or related fields is preferred but not essential.
